Show estimated file size before the ripping happens

Before you rip the file it would help so much if there was a little display showing how big the file will be once the process is complete.

Increase the program's speed

The program rips DVDs with little more speed than actually watching the movie/DVD. Is there a way the program could be made to go faster?

isolate chapters by selection for recording

One thing I'd like to see is the ability to easily do specific chapters. Another thing is being able to navigate the DVD menu and selecting features such as episodes with deleted scenes in order to record that feature, which most converters can't...

Have option for Forced Subtitles only

Subtitles shouldn't be all or none. I want the subtitles only when someone is speaking a foreign language, not when English (or whatever the chosen language is) is being spoken.

Provide Pop-up descriptions for the many settings to Explain and Guide correct Changes to settings

Some of the settings may be unclear to some users, a real-time info guide would be helpful.

support ripping audio tracks from concert dvds. rip by chapter and fill in metata, support multichannel audio

I don't think you could fill in metadata automatically though it would be a differentiating feature. Right now your program just does what dozens already do. Maybe yours is better :) but its hard to convince people with a me-too feature list....

Be able to set the desired output file size (Megabytes) and format, and the program will set the suitable settings for you.

Or at least display the estimate file size. (Useful to store the end file in CDs or devices with limited storage capacity)

Replace the green highlight in the tab

The previous version was very easy to see which mode (tab) was chosen. My eyes aren't so good and the highlight was helpful. The new version looks streamlined but I prefer functionality to a bit of sophistication.

Support ripping surround audio formats (rather than just stereo MP3) from DVD and DVD-A

Currently the only audio output is stereo MP3. There is a need for a program that allows surround sound to be copied from DVD concert videos and DVD-A disks in surround format(s).

I would merge this programe with hd converter, this would be better then having to seperate programes. I would also have a estimate of file size after conversion. Thanks as well, this is the best and simplest ripper i have had
